Terms of Service

These terms explain how bookings, access, safety and care work when you arrange pet enrichment or dog activity sessions with Zauber K9. Please read them before your first visit.

Clear expectations help protect your dog and the person handling them. Start here.

01 · Scheduling

Bookings, cancellations and rescheduling

A request is not a confirmed session. We confirm the time and any applicable fee before holding a booking.

Read the booking terms
02 · Property access

Keys, gates and entry instructions

Agree access in writing before the first visit, and tell us promptly when a code, alarm or arrangement changes.

Read the access terms
03 · Dog welfare

Health, equipment and weather

Share relevant health and behaviour details in advance. Unsafe conditions can mean a changed plan or a cancelled session.

Read the safety terms
04 · Care boundaries

Handling, medication and liability

Care stays within agreed instructions and the handler's role. Veterinary diagnosis and treatment are outside the service.

Clause 01 · Scheduling

Bookings, cancellations and rescheduling

Send an enquiry with your preferred session details. A booking is confirmed only after Zauber K9 replies in writing with an agreed time and any applicable price.

Changing a session

Contact us as early as you can if you need to change or cancel. Any notice period, late-cancellation fee or recurring-session arrangement will be stated in writing when the booking is agreed; no unstated fee is assumed by these terms.

Weather changes

Heat, storms or other unsafe conditions may require a shorter session, a different suitable activity, a new time or cancellation. We will contact you about the practical options. Any rescheduled time must be agreed by both sides.

Before you confirm: Check the written booking message for the session time, price and any agreed cancellation conditions.

Clause 02 · Home visits

Access, keys and property

Before the first visit, agree in writing how the handler may enter and where your dog will be. Permission to enter or transport your dog must be clear before it happens.

Keep instructions current

You are responsible for providing accurate entry, gate, alarm and security instructions. Tell us before a visit if any detail changes. Do not assume an old access code or routine is still suitable.

Keys and security details

Agree how any key is handed over, kept and returned. Tell us if you want an access arrangement changed or ended. We handle access details only for the agreed service; see the privacy policy for information about personal information.

We will not enter a property or take a dog in a vehicle without your permission.

Clause 03 · Welfare first

Safety, health, weather and equipment

Before the first session, tell us about your dog's health conditions, injuries, allergies, sensitivities and behaviour history. Update us if anything changes, even if it seems minor.

Health and shared environments

Tell us about vaccination and parasite-prevention status before requesting group activity or time in public settings. The appropriate arrangements depend on the activity and the dogs involved; we may ask for more information or decide an activity is unsuitable.

Conditions and equipment

Heat, storms, unsafe surfaces or another welfare concern can change the location or activity, shorten the session or make cancellation the safest choice. You are responsible for supplying equipment that fits your dog and is in safe working condition.

Health details matter. Withholding relevant information may make a planned session unsafe or unsuitable.

Clause 04 · Agreed care

Behaviour, medication and liability

Tell us honestly about handling needs, bite history, fear responses and interactions with people or other dogs. Zauber K9 may decline, pause or stop work if a dog cannot be handled safely within the agreed session.

Medication and veterinary care

Medication is given only when you provide written instructions and the task is agreed in advance. The service does not diagnose conditions, provide veterinary treatment or promise emergency transport. Contact a veterinarian for clinical advice or urgent care.

Responsibility and updates

You remain responsible for accurate instructions, suitable equipment and sharing information needed to plan safe care. We will take reasonable care during agreed activities, but cannot remove every risk that comes with handling a dog or using a public environment.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. We will share session photographs or updates with you as agreed; we will not publish your dog's images publicly without your consent.
